This Fanfare was specially written for Flutewise: London Calling in 2013.

The brief was to write a short fanfare opening piece that EVERYBODY could play. Everyone from total beginners that could only play two notes on flute (or fife) right up to conservatoire graduates, teachers and professionals.

Difficult. 

However - here it is. The entire piece is on one page - meaning that this can either be handed out or even projected onto a big screen, and everyone can simply pick the part that they are most comfortable with. The top two easiest parts on the page can be played on flutes or on fifes, and the parts get progressively more and more difficult as they go on!
